  I am completely guilty in following people for follow-backs.  If they don’t recipocrate I unfollow.  I did this on one account as a test and have now reached 10000+ followers.  I know for the purists out there I suck!!  Today I think Twitter have put in a new process to curb me.

  I unfollowed a bunch today  ~400 or so using Huitter.   My following count on the profile remained constant.  I went and checked how many I actually followed both through Huitter as well as counting (20 per page X 501 pages) and my count was actually 10022 but it was showing 10500.  I will be monitoring to see when/if this drops over the next few days.

  Been too busy but still up to 4187 today. 100 up. Added another 200 to follow. Need to do some cleansing on Friday. Each batch now brings in another 250+ followers. One more week and I should hit 5000.

  Almost up to 3800 followers today. Wish I would know who would follow back quickly and those that don’t. It would really help me grow faster.

  About one hour in to the experiment I reached 100 followers.  This was quite a bit faster than first time.   I guess about 7-8 people blocked me (wish I could see who did) and I don’t really blame them as this account does look at bit spammy though I figured it is time to start gathering some followers which I can use to publicize the new web site.  No worries though, I am not planning on spamming anyone.

  Having created the twitter ID 25followers as another test (this time a bit more experienced) I followed 968 people using the Flashtweet tool.  Worked great!  I was able to follow this many people within 20 minutes and reached 25 followers about 20 minutes after creating the account (friends of allfollowback).  

  Idea will be to create 25followers.com where people can log in follow 25 people and get on the list to be followed.  Upon following a group of people they work up the balance and other people can follow them back.  Not my top twitter tool idea but a relatively simple one which can be built quickly.

  Wonder if it would be a good idea to start a race with fresh accounts for obtaining the most Twitter followers within a week.

  Started using Flashtweet.com. Really saves me time to get more followers. Started a new account and got 25 followers back literally within 20 minutes. I got stopped at 962 follows however. I guess maybe IP limiting.

  Bought the domain 25followers.com recently. Have a simple idea for a tool for getting more Twitter followers. Anyway, more on that later.
